The balloting for the USAR Board of Directors is underway. NCRA board member Jan Stelma is running for national office. You cannot complain about the direction of USARacquetball if you don't vote. Unfortunately, the ballot was not in your magazine, but they have been mailed out to all USAR members.
THERE WILL BE NO ONLINE VOTING!!!
If you did not receive the ballot, contact Heather Fender at the USAR (HFender@usra.org). You can vote for up to 3 of the candidates. Ballots must be returned by April 19.
Our own one and only Jan Stelma will be running for USAR Board of Directors this year.
We would like to wish her good luck on behalf of all the North carolina racquetball association.
Here is a letter written to all our members from Jan:

I am truly excited and honored to be considered for the USAR Board of Directors. I think I can bring to the Board a multi-faceted perspective. First, I have served on my state board for years, holding the position of President, Vice President and Treasurer. Second, I have served on the USAR board in the position of Vice President and Secretary. Third, I am owner of two racquetball clubs. This combination gives me a true insight into many of the issues our sport faces. I understand the financial struggles of the states and the national organization, and think that I can help balance the needs of both. Service to our members is very important. As a club owner I understand customer service and how important it is to the growth of any business, which is exactly what our state and national organizations are. Let me represent you, my fellow racquetball players, and I promise to work hard to resolve issues, and help map a great future for our sport! Let’s roll ‘em out!
Sincerely,
Jan Stelma
North Carolina
